Check for a button by the clutch pedal. You will actually have to get on your knees to see it and its pretty far left, just look around the top of the clutch pedal and you will find it.If you havent tried or knew this somethimes the peace on your clutch that pushes this button in will break off making you have to push it when you wont to start the car. You have to hold it down of course while you turn over the key this may be the problem.

also i dont have an interlock relay box where it shows it in your diagram. i was getting a click and it came from a fuse box on the opposite side of the battery...in the same area as the horn relay, etc.... it said acc on it so i pulled it and it looked fried, so i put a different one in and got nothing???

the wiring is complicated for the auto. You have an inhibitor relay. I think it is in the relay box by battery(at least for 1990). You also have an inhibitor switch and auto tran control unit. Get a multimeter and see if you have 12v positive at the starter when you are trying to start.

Oh... okay my bad man, well conversion coming soon.

Uh... all i could say is do what van said.Check all the wires n ****.Also this is rarely a problem but if the positive and negative wires are really like smudgy looking, try getting some thin sand paper and sand them down could cause it not too not get enough V to start car.Worth a shot good luck.

You might want to take a look at the oil on your dipstick. Make sure that you do not see any white or light colored discoloration to the oil. There is a possibility of head gasket failure due to the overheating. It can cause water/coolant to get into the cylinders which can cause the starter to labor against the added pressure of the liquid.
