my 91 240sx (engine all stock) is not idleing smoothly. like around the 2000-3500 rpm range it like skips, even when the car is in gear, at a certain rpm it seems like the car is almost not making any power. has anyone ever had this happen to them? does anyone know what to do?

Thanks in advance.

hmm... Most likey an electrical type of deal. Engine ground should be redone, and check your coolant temp sensor. Also make sure plugs, wires, and other tuneup items are in good shape.

I'd suggest using a multimeter to check the grouding wires before you replace them. I'm not a mechanic, but an engineer...we try to test stuff before replacing it. Of course we don't usually replace anything ourselves...but rather get a technician who knows what he's doing for that! :)
