I suppose he can legitimately claim his car "rocks." It's amazing he survived that impact.alms24sebring wrote:dam. I dont think he can sue the gov't for that right? Its a natural disaster

France is LHD. I'm just waiting for this to happen in my hometown. Along the main road that goes through town, there is a huge rock perched on the edge of one of the cuts through the hills. The only thing holding it there is another rock on the opposite edge sitting on top of it.300ZXttZMAN wrote:Is the car LHD or RHD??
Dont they use super strong fences and nets to contain falling rocks? I know they do in PA and TN. Although, a giant boulder like that looks hard to hold back.zacmil wrote:France is LHD. Nope! At least not here. It's not a big mountain or anything, just a section where they cut through a hill. The road is also a large 3 lane highway with shoulders about as wide as a normal lane; I suppose that it's likely anything that fell would just land in the ditch or, at worst, on the shoulder. It's still scary looking.alms24sebring wrote: Dont they use super strong fences and nets to contain falling rocks? I know they do in PA and TN. That makes some sense, France has a tradition for "falling" .themadscientist wrote:Oh, a French rock. How sophisticated.
