Car Mats

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Looking for a place where i can get reliable car mats, since purchasing the EX i have been using other "things" in place of the mat. For example, the original mat that comes with it, i flipped it over on the drivers side only. I put in an order to get infiniti mats, but my dealer didn't pull through. So now I'm looking for a place to get mats, they don't need to be Infiniti mats, because I won't spend more than $300 on just mats.

http://www.weathertech.com/sto...hId=0 -- These seem really like a good really fit, its $169 ..

Personally I purchased mine from pepboys, they are heavy duty rubber mats and they fit completely and it only cost me $20 for front and rear, nothing get around it. Usually I never buy these but it was a nice large size to cover all surrounding and more (even towards under the seat and right under the gas pedal) and definitely high quality. Something like this usualy goes for $80 bucks, they may not be as perfect fit like the weathertech (molds arent exact since its universal), overall I think it was well worth $20 for a high quality/heavy rubber mat.

Does the pepboy version come with holes for the drivers side that align with the pins? I wouldn't want a thick rubber mat stuck below my brake pedal.

That Weathertech floor liners are the best! Since you live in NJ, I wouldn`t think twice to get it... The black color during winter time gets messy looking , but can be cleaned easily by pressure washing...I strongly recommend it to anyone.

I believe so, its big so it doesn't move around at all. As for the gas pedal, you'l' notice the pedal goes from down up so it would be impossible for the rubber floor mat to get stuck "under" the pedal, and for it getting "on" the pedal, all you do is just tuck it further down. Honestly for $20, I can't complain and have been satisfied since I purchased my EX towards the end of January and bought the mats the following day.. If price is no object (or atleast $169) and you'd like everything perfectly snug/custom fit to the vehicle, then you should go for the WeatherTech (personally I wouldn't spend that much on floor mats unless universal mats do no good (and I am pretty picky about fitment as well).

I went with the $20 job from BJ's wholesale. No hole for the pin or anything---they ain't pretty--but they fit and I wanted something for winter and spring to avoid screwing up the nice carpet mats from Infiniti. I may look at the Weathertech cargo mat when mountain bike season kicks in, though.
