car makes loud "hissing" noise in rain, any ideas, just the belts being wet???

Just bough an 03 sedan in great condition and the previous owner kept a mazing car of it and never really drove it in the rain. Has about 65,000 miles on it and everything is pretty much updated in the car. Of course I've had a few days and I left out in the rain last night and I turned it on and the car was making that hissing noise. Is it just because the belts are wet and they aren't used to? Is it something that will go away or should I be looking for something else?

"hissing" sounds are typical of air leak...but we have no idea what you are talking about. Hiss, squeal, clunk, creak, etc...all are very hard to diagnose because they are subjective.

Post a video up and we can hear what you are thinking of.
