OK folks, I got a weird one.

My wife's 2006 Altima has an issue while braking at moderate speeds. Happens when decelerating from 30 - 40 mph with moderate, but not hard braking. The whole car seems to slightly jerk, maybe 2-3 times per second. Not like when the rotors are warped. There's no traditional "vibration" in the pedal, steering wheel or seat.

Any thoughts?

I have the same thing but jerks once a bit. I believe its because the car is changing gear upwards while your braking causing the transmission to jerk a bit and try to find the gear it should be in while your slowing down. When i'm slowing driving up to a stop sign i can feel the gear shifts from 1 to 2 then i slow down and it jerks a bit cause it has to be in gear one at the speed your slowing down at. Well that's just what i think i'm no professional just my opinion on whats going on. I drive a automatic and i'm guessing you do to so the car changes gear when it feels like it right.

Thanks for the idea, but I'm not sure if that's it. I have felt something similar to what you are describing, but this is a continual pulsation, sustained over a few seconds. Not just a a few bucks as the transmission finds the lower gear. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
