CAR KEY! Where can I get Main Car KEY!.

I had my car for awhile and I wanna know where I can get the main car key so I can open the trunk with my key instead of this 2nd key.Do I have to go to Nissan dealer and give them my Vin# or something?Can someone expert tell me where I can get this.Plus I see an alaram installed in my car but brain is taken away. I guess ex owner took off the alarm before selling the car.If I get new alarm can I just switch out the parts and use same wiring?Thanks

they key should open every lock. If it doesn't work on the trunk key, then most likely the lock has been replaced, i.e. the trunk. A locksmith should be able to re-key the lock to fit the stock key for arround $50 or less.

I know the S13's came with a valet key that only worked the drivers door and ing. It could be that you have that key and not the normal key. You can get the keycode (either stamped on the key you have or on a sticker in the glove box, it will be a 1 letter and 4 numbers code, ie. X1234) and take it to a dealer, then they can make you a key. I had this issue on an 89 Coupe i had for parts.

that key would be known as a valet key so they can't raid the trunk. but if it's a hatch it's a changed lock.
