Original problem still coming back to haunt me.. we're thinking it's the PCM, however, since you guys are more knowledgeable, I thought I'd ask you guys first:

We've replaced the IAC and the timing belt, adjusted the TPC and the new IAC via the screw to no avail. The car would rarely do it for us, but for the girl, it does it randomly.. so like at any time (cold or hot, long or short runs) the car acts as if it has an IAC problem. The idle goes up and down up and down and usually kills out. Any ideas? The car's fully stock, throwing no codes (checked anyway even tho it wasn't on)

Did you check the MAF? How about the fuel pump/sending unit?

MAF good/clean and fuel pressure checked out. Problem started only 2-3 weeks ago, I'll ask her to be sure there was no change though I'm sure the only change would be the oil..

Oh, to add to it, there are no history codes either. Checked it w/ the Matco scanner and didn't see anything out of the ordinary (rarely killed out for us so we had no time to check)

I noticed you're in Georgia.

Are you close tohttp://www.t3auto.com/ ?

This shop is owned by a longtime NICO moderator. A very knowlegeable fellow when it comes to Infiniti's. You may want to take the J there. Let them know that I sent you from the NICO forums!

That'd be a little odd for a shop to call another shop LOL!! At any rate, we'll see if we can't duplicate the problem and put it on the Matco scanner and see if it's the pcm/tpc or whatever.. thanks man!

I didn't realize you where a shop. Nevertheless its not unusual for small shops to call service departments at dealers or other shops to get help on a vehicle up here. I work for a major auto manufacturer and its quite widespread.

ugh same problem. I think its because my car hasnt been "driven" for a long time, as you all most know why. I jumpstarted it today, backed it out, and it died. So i had to restart it again (jumpstart). And it feels realyl slogish, and the transmission feels and makes weird noises. Il have to take it to Nissan for them to do a whole inspection, which I need anyways to license it
