I just finished relocating my battery to the trunk. Prior to this I have also installed toe and traction rods, subframe bushings, and rucas from SPL as well as Tein HE coilovers, new rear brake pads and rotors, and the 300z brake kit from Underground Motorsports.
Anyway... I cranked the car and after realizing I have a poor idle I put it in reverse, gave it some gas, and let out the clutch. At which point... the car lurched backwards... sorta... there isn't much it can flex on bushing wise.
The car did move backwards a tiny bit. It felt like my e-brake was on. I checked the handle and it wasn't. Nor were their any blocks left behind the wheels. Upon inspecting the front rotor and calipers I found that I still have clearence between the supra rotors and 300z calipers. Judging from the clean metal now visable on the rotor the car had moved about a centimeter.
It may be that I dind't scew my emergency brake piston thingy back in all the way but I'm certain I did. It didn't feel like it wanted to go in any further but I was using pliers and not the special tool so I can see how this could have happened.
I'm going to go back out and see if I can turn the wheels by hand with them off the ground in a minute. Assuming they don't turn any suggestions?
