Car is sounding rough will not shift into fifth gear manually
Car is sounding rough will not shift into fifth gear manually no check engine lights on have been told a simple flush will take care of this just wondering if it is that simple fix

Could be the wheel bearings that are making the car sound rough, this could make it sound like the car wants to shift even though it is going into gear.

I have only tried to do the manual shifting once, my car did not go past 3rd in manual mode. I kept pulling the gear shift down, but nothing happened. I just figured that I had no idea what I was doing because I got to use only 3 of my 7 speeds so I never tried again, LOL.
