I bought my 240sx not too long ago and did the sr20 swap. On the highway at a constant throttle it misses alot, the wideband jumps to 17,18 then pegs out really quick. If you accelerate just a little bit it comes out of it, if you let off and go back to a constant throttle it will go away. The plugs are good. Sometimes it does it alot and at other times it barely does it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Could it be the TPS? Needs a little adjusting?

LOL, no it just doesn't run right at regular highway speed in 5th gear, sorry. Guess I should have worded the title better.

This really belongs in the RWD SR20 forum, but I would suggest looking at your coil packs. One or more may be losing charge and need to be replaced. This would be most noticeable on the highway during acceleration or during long periods of driving as they heat up.

Same problem here, since the higher gears offer more resistance and you make boost at a lower rev, the bogging makes itself noticed.

I'd bog around 3500rpms in 5th gear, it turned out to be a bad coil pack.

I got another coil pack laying around, I"ll try changing one at a time and test driving it and see if that fixes it.

I replaced all my coilpacks with ones from a friends 240 and it ran good. 2 of mine weren't really white anymore, they were yellowish colored. I bought a set and replaced the two and it runs fine now.
