car is getting hot why?

He everyone, Help i need help,My 2003 nissan 350Z is getting worm, when i drive on the Freeway for about 20 mins. and then stop at the light, the fan goes up and loud but the temperature is getting higher, not to the red but i feel it will reach red if i keep the car running for longer time., fan is working, coolent is full.please help, i took the car to the dealership, and after 8 hours of working on it and changing the fan, hoses, termostate, sensores, they told me that they have no idea what is wrong with the car, it still getting hot, so now i have to wait for 2 days for a part called the Thermostate housing, and then they will try againg to see if it will work.

it sounds like your thermostat is sticking... might want to get that checked out, also make sure you dont have a lot of stuff blocking your radiator. i.e. grass, leaves, etc

+1 sounds like a sticking stat...

Might as well get the Nismo thermostat...

it didn't work, still the dealership has no idea what is wrong with my car.

He stated he changed it in the original post.....well...I'm guessing that's what "termostate" really means....

the dealer ship has changed the Thermostate, hoses, sensors, but they told me the car still getting warm, and now they waiting for the part called the Thermostate housing, according to them that may be the problem, but not sure yet,

The thermostat is built into the thermostat housing on Z's.... weird that they are claiming to have replaced one and not the other.

Have you checked to see if the heat works? Z's are odd about air in the system, but I would hope a dealership would know how to handle that.

wow thats wierd, I'm gonna guess it cost a lot more than a normal drop in thermostat, sometimes they need to stop "Improving" things and let well enough be
