the other day i was on the freeway and my car started bogging. it seemed felt like as if i were clutching really fast and letting go. when i pulled over, it was hard to keep my rev up. then when i put it in neutral to stop it motor just dyed. its been doing that everyime i'm on the road for a good while. i think it might be the fuel pump but any ideas??

check out your tps and the fuel pump. does it happen all the time or is it when the engine is hot, does it happen over time?

it happens over a bit of time. It seems to happen when i'm on the freeways after at least 15min of driving. The shop told me it could be the Airflow sensor. LIke today, i made it fine to work because there was traffic and i was going slow, but as soon as it opened up and i sped up, i felt a little bogging again.

Funny, my sister just told me when she clutches her accord to make a turn, it shuts off too! just started happening to her yesterday. nice.

ive had a similar problem except it happens when im driving locally, and freeway is more smooth..

when u drive with ease, it doesnt bog out... but when u accelerate with more boost, it starts bogging...

your engine is not getting enough fed.a fuel pressure regulator fixxed this problem for me..

but it could be fuel pump or anything in between as well

KAs are not pieces of crap.

You either have a fuel or airflow problem. Check the connections around the MAF. It's the big square thing in the intake, right behind the air filter box. I had a loose connection to the MAF on my S14 recently and it did exactly the same thing. The car wouldn't even run after a while.
