car idles really weird..

hi, this problem has been going on for like a few months now. Any help would be appreciated.

every time my car is on and running, warm/cold/wet/ ANYTHING it always idles at about 500rpm. Then something clicks inside my door panel on the drivers side and it goes up to 1k. This happens endlessly at about 15 second intervals. Its not that big of a deal...but what the hell is in my door making the noise? Its about as loud as the sound of a modem click.

if you have power windows/locks/mirrors than one of them might be grounding out and draining power from your ignition. take your door panel off and check the wires and connectors inside.

i dont even know how to take the door panel off. That's why i had the car stereo people put in my front speakers :-(

It's actually very easy just take it slow and you will be fine... there was a picture posted of the door panel screws on here recently , I'll see if i can find it for you.
