car idles low when cold but extremely high warm

my problem is that when my car is cold it idles low around 800rpm or so but when the temp gets up to normal it idles around 2000. Ive ckecked for vacume leaks and gas cable need some ideas on wants going on Please help.

did you check the coolant temp sensor? It could be sending garbage to the ecu.
