Car Idles Fine but Drives like SH**

ok so just did a ca18 swap. When I start it up it seems to idle prettttyyy well, idles kinda low but seems fairly steady. As soon as I back out of the driveway and go, the car doesnt seem to want to move at all. Its almost as if my throttle cable isnt hooked up (but it is). I can put my foot to the floor and nothing will happen, just sits at low rpms. After about 10 seconds of it driving like s***, I always try to turn around, and as soon as I put the clutch in it stalls. Then won't want to start. Any idea whats wrong here? Am I running super rich? Any ideas? Thanks

ok, anyone have these parts available at an affordable price?

When I'm at idle and i open the throttle a bit, it will jump to 2k no problem, its just while theres a load on the engine it won't go anywhere...Thought I would add that in there aswell.

Check the ecu and find out what's causing the issues and let us know. You don't want to just be spending money on stuff you don't need.

when revved up does it go like whop whop whop? roughly 1500rpm. maybe a maf problem. which maf are you using? also check for boost leaks such as ic plumbing etc.

ok ill check the ecu. Its idling much worse now too. I need to keep tapping the gas so it wont stall

check ic piping i had the same. it blew off a coupler on start up

Intercooler piping seems to be fine. Leaky BOV maybe?

My car will be fine for like 30 seconds on idle then i go to pull out of the driveway and it just dies. Then it won't start and I have to push it back in. I'm so confused. If I leave it for 10 minutes and try and start it, it will barely start then idle like crap...but if I leave it for like a day then start it everything is fine, then it dies after like 30 seconds again.

Any ideas?

have you done a maf swap without a re map it could be loading up and check your compression, it could be bad thats what mine did did you change any sensers from the ka with out making sure its right or a map change

Compression is good. I don't have any spare parts lying around and dont want to buy them if I don't need them. And its a 180 so the ca18 was stock. I just tossed it and put in a freshly rebuilt one

sure u have the harness at the intake manifold plugged up to correct location/items ?Some of those plugs near the front can be crossed up pretty easily and WILL run like crap

hmm...I thought I had it in place but maybe I messed something up. Can anyone tell me which colours go where?

Also, ECU gave me code 55 = No codes.
