OK WHEN I START MY CAR AFTER IT BEING COOLED DOWN IT IDLES FINE TIL IT WAMS UP THEN DROPS TO THE POINT OF ALMOST STALLING THEN AFTER ABOUT AFEW SECONDS OF THAT IT IDLES BACK UP AGAIN.THIS IDLEING ACT WILL GO ON TIL I TURN THE CAR OFF NO MATTER HOW LONG IT RUNS .ALSO UPON ACCELERATION IT HESITATESLIKE ITS MISSING OR SOMTHING SIMILAR TO THAT.ONCE UP TO SPEED IT DOES GREAT.THEN AT A LIGHT IT GOES BACK TO THE UP AND DOWN THING AGAIN.PLEASE HELP I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE GOOD AND HAVE PROBABLY HEARD OF THIS BEFORE.THANKS IN ADVANCE :confused:BTW ITS A BLACKTOP NOTCHBACK SR STOCK

what maf are you running? we need more details.

Check MAF
TPS voltage
Vacuum leaks.

Then your could also clean your IAVC and try stable the idle with the idle screw.

have the stock s14 maf .havent checked the tps sensor i left my meter at work.will do it monday for sure checked for vacuum leacks with propane and didnt find anyafter replacing my intake gasket the idle seems to have gotten better but still the hesitation at about 3000rpm but give it more throttle and shes off like a rocket.ill check the things listed when i get my meter.if you need more info just ask thanks for your responses !

Cleaning the IACV isn't a bad idea.

ok tps is fine,mafs fine,how do i test my iac valve?i unplugged it at idle and no change did not attempt to dive it like that.im reading that it causes the symptoms im having and id like to try testing and cleaning it but cant find anything on it for my notchback.any ideas?

remove the iacv and spray chokespray or carbcleaner all on the spring, and the adj. screw needs to come out so its flush with the casing

cool did that and the prblem persists although not as bad at least for the 15 min i let it idle....is there any way to test the electrical connections?i unpluged them while running and nothing happened...should it be that way?how do i know that its working?

alsohow can i pull the codes.i have a snap on mt2500 scanner with asian 94-2000.i tried obdII generic due to it being an sr and not a kabut says no communication.any ideas?

what kind of bov are u runnning. i had this issue with one of the ebay turbo xs bovs cause it wouldnt stay shut. I went to a greddy type s and a flange pipe that was solid alum and it runs fine now. Check your couplers you might have a leak somewhere. Good Luck
