Alright so heres my problem. i have a 90 240sx hatch with the ka24e sohc motor.

I will drive my car, starts and runs fine..after about half an hour or until it gets hot, it will start to run like crap i press down on gas and it like stutters to get on it, also when i go to park the car and turn it off wait like 15-20 minutes or so and go back to turn it on it turns over but hesitates to start and i have to pump the gas to get it to start completly.

I have replaced radiator and thermostat and that has not fixed it, also the compression numbers are good. I dont know if the fuel injectors could cause this or what.

Any info or suggestions would be really appreciated

Thanks

Sounds like the infamous coolant temp sensor - you can remove yours & test it via FSM spec (search for FSM if you don't already have it). It's located on the intake manifold, but if you can't find it... again, FSM or search.

You may be able to clean it off & have it last a while longer, but I'd replace it - 18 year old sensors are sometimes, well, a lil past their useful life.

You can buy one from your dealership or our sponsors:Nissan Temperature Sensor
