ok so i replaced the KA24de with another KA24de and my car has some issues that maybe yall can help point out whats causing it.
First is something to do with the clutch. the pedal has to be all the way on the floor in order to shift. it seems as if there isnt enough pressure in the lines or something, even bypassed the clutch block and bled the hell out of the clutch and still a soft feeling clutch. in order to drive i have to shift slowly to keep from grinding and to insure the clutch is engaging properly. basicly im driving like a granny(granny shifting)...lol.need help with this cause i wana rip on the car to see how its really running. i had replaced the master and slave if that helps narrow down the problem. im kinda thinking the pivot fork might not be sitting in just right and that there is hardly any pressure in the pedal because its not meeting alot of resistance, meaning the slave pushing on the pivot fork. idk, my mind has been coming up with all sorts of ideas as to the issue but i need someone with clear level headed thinking to point me in the right direction.
second is that sometimes when shifting or coming to a stop the idle drops like mad and the car will shut off. i replaced a bad injector which i thought was causing the issuse but all it did was smooth out the rough idle it did have at start up. my maf is clean and looks to be in good working order. im thinking it could possibly be the fuel filter needs changing or i need to get new plug wires, dis cap and rotor button. any idea what could be causing this because its really a pain in the butt problem.
these issues have kinda taking the back seat on my list of this to do because i need new brakes and being able to stop is more important than being able to haul boogy but still are issues i need to address.
