P2A03 is a most exasperating code. It's usually a small and undetected leak anywhere before the cat. You might have to bide your time to allow the leak to expand till it's detectable or sometimes the leak is itself covered up by deposits in the exhaust.Korben15 wrote:Ok guys, I need some help here. My car was throwing the P2A03 code for bank 2, sensor 1 oxygen sensor. I had that sensor replaced. Then the code came up for the bank 2, sensor 2. I haven't had it replaced yet. I had the codes scanned again today and it showed the P2A03 code and not the one for bank 2, sensor 2. Anyone else had this problem? Is my computer going bad or what?![]()
I began to be tormented by the code (the bank 1) after I gutted my cat, even after installing an oem a/f sensor. If the code followed the sensor, then the sensor is probably bad. Was the new sensor oem?cruzad3r wrote:LOL "most exasperating code"
i'm getting a P2A00 which is bank 1 sen 1 error - swapping O2 sensor and still getting it. The tech that swapped my engine told me the CAT. Not sure how old is your cat but you might want to check that out.
