okay guys, i recently just got the car done with the audio set up in my 1999 q45, and today i drove the car and when at a red light, the car will be shaking bit, sometimes vigorously and the TCS and SLIP light would lit up and turn off (sometimes fast), and the car would feel like it would shut down out of no where! This ONLY occurs when the car is still at a red/stop light, and at one moment my gas meter would reach E and the warning low fuel indicator would flash on and turn off (this only happened once.) Now i have the service soon light on, errrr what can cause this issue? i seriously thought the car would turn off on me at every stop/red light im at. the car acts like its sputtering and shaking like an earthquake. im not sure if this is a o2 sensor issue, alternator, or a fuel filter/pump. help please guys!

oh and my gas seems to drain gas more in idle mode than driving, the HECK! it does this every time i crank the car, doesn't matter how long the car been driven since the last start up.

Might I suggest you try turning off you audio system the next time you get a stumble at a stop light. Q's are a very electronically oriented design. With your new audio system, you might be loading down the alternator at idle. Doesn't cost anything to try.

We can throw out a bunch of wild a** guesses and you can throw parts at it, or you could do the only logical thing and have the codes read since you stated the engine light came on.OBD2 is your friend in time of troubles.....read codes and follow diagnostic steps for each individual fault listed.....simple,quick,and easy.

yeah im planning to do that tomorrow from autozone, but the only thing im worried is the service light on is for something else rather than the car traction and slip light from lighting up and off quick.

sorry guys i been lagging, the check engine light went away a day later so i couldnt pull any codes up, but what i notice is every morning i go to start my car on, it'll idle at 1.3rpm like usual then it'll go down near 1k then it'll do a quick jump back to 1.3 then drop back down to 1k, it does this EVERY morning, whats the deal? do i have a vacuum leak somewhere? its just a quick jump then back normal. its weird,
