Car Garages willing to do engine swap in GA (2.5-3.5, a bigger engine)

Hey Guys and Ladies I have couple of questions, the first one is if anybody know who will be willing to do the engine swap(2.5-3.5, or a bigger engine) in the GA could you please tell me if it is near ATL that would be even better hahah :biggrin: . the other question is has anybody and I mean ANYBODY has done any type of transmission swap. I would like to know and how hard was it or what should I look for when I am doing this transmission swap this would be great guys and ladies.

Why would you do this? Unless you have a rebuilt title or something, just go buy a 6cyl... probably cheaper.

He didnt ask for your opinion on his situation he asked about engine and transmission swapping.

You can do it but itll be near $4k to $11k which is what some people on this forum spent on the transmission swap alone. Youll need to get a new ecm or a manual one and manual harness and the new engine would need custom engine mounts to fit and youll need a stronger suspension for the extra weight if your going 2.5-3.5. Honestly tho this has been talked about in older posts

An engine swap will be a waste of time and money, particularly if you include a transmission swap. Most folks that perform an engine/transmission swap on the coupe are mechanics that perform the swaps themselves.
