Just bought another SOHC today. Got it to a gas station to fill it up, and it would not start. It was flooded.

So after taking out the fuel pump fuse, and having my girlfriend crank while i put pressure on the fuel hose, it started, and would stay idling...jsut real rough for a while. If i tried to give it any gas, it would choke, and die.

So i put the fuse back in, wont start. Floods.

Take the fuse out, do the same thing, starts...try and put the fuse in real quick....dies.

Finally I was able to do that again with success. I started it without the fuel pump fuse, then put it in, and gas it some throttle...it stayed started, and took me home.

I tested injectors, seemed fine. Anyways, I replaced the fuel rail and injectors with ones that are known to work well. The car started again, with the fuse in, but ran like ****. I do not think it was the injectors personally, just luck of the draw.

I have a bunch of ka-e parts. Anyone know what I should start replacing first, its 7:30, and I would liek to be able to drive this to work tomorrow :]

I somehow doubt i will be able to though.

Did you take a look at your fuel filter by any chance?
