"not a big fan of sticking a vent or flare anywhere where one bolts on. Especially if you just stick them on with 3M tape or sheet metal screws and don't mold anything.the wing is ludicrous, the hood vents look non functional, and tests have shown that putting washers under the rear of the hood just makes it look ghetto and doesn't actually aid in cooling. Why mount those fender flares on if you don't even have enough wheel to fill up the stock openings?"

1=its a track car only2=its a track car only3=wing is 100% functional..and yes its very silly looking...i should have got a larger one in hind site for even more rear downforce4=vents are 100% functional, after doing many laps and coming into the pits, what used to happen is the engine bay turned into a big oven and melted all the plastic parts..like distributor, spark plug wires, boots, master cylinder...o2 wiring..ect...when the car stops they allow the heat to escape..same with the raised hood.

5=fender flares, are for my rims that i am getting made this winter, a custom set of kodiak 16x10 and 16x9 :)

6=all of those useless vents dropped my water temps by 20 DEGREES this year...put that in your pipe and smoke it :) thats why i got that bomex nose...since it had huge vents...plus i am using the center vent to cool the intercooler rad and oil cooler, and the turn signals to run brake ducts..

i would 100% agree that for a street car mose of these mods are useless, since street machines never come close to the duty cycle this car sees. however they have all helped on the track keeping heat under control

Lifting the hood does make my engine run cooler I did my own test! Plus I can see the heat rising out wile I’m sitting in traffic plus my AC runs cooler. So ill keep it "Ghetto". :rolleyes

Every Wednesday we have a bad a$$ meet with at least 80 to 100 cars and chicks hanging all over hoods to get pictures taken in the parking lot across from UCF. Man you should really go to one of these meets. I saw a JDM Nissan GTIR right hand drive and all. It was all stock with just a fresh tune and a three inch down pipe and ran a swift 13:6 at the track in Orlando. Man I want that car! SR20 with a CA valve train t28 turbo all wheel drive! :ylsuper
