allright, are you sure it is getting fuel pressure? hook up a fuel pressure gauge in the line, and turn the key to "on", or you could listen to the back of a can while a friend turns the key, you shold hear a very high pitch wine from the pump

if that checks out, check that the injectors are firing, you can use a GM noid light to check for the pulsing

are you sure it is getting spark?

and finnaly, congrats on the car, ive had mine since i turned 16, almost 17 now and never gets old!

Might need a new fuel pump, might just need some wiring work. But if you aren't hearing a buzzing noise, that means your fuel pump isn't working for one reason or another.

May as well just get the walbro 255lph pump, it's cheaper than buying OEM and it's better, so you can't go wrong really.

Okay, so i blew a fuse, and no power options in my car work, the headlights do but thats it, the power windows dont, the interior light doesnt, nothing does, the wipers dont, nothing at all. Could that be the reason why im not hearing a humming noise, because i have gas, but when i turn it onto accessories no gas even comes, but before i blew the fuse gas came. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You're going to want to check all your fuses before going any further. Yes, a blown fuse can keep the fuel pump from working.

Does your friend happen to have any history on how the car came to be in this condition? Did it overheat? Did it blow up? Did the naughty kid next door replace the air filter with one composed of silica gel? etc....

the fuel pump fuse is in the engine bay, near the coolant overflow tank, it says "fuel pump" on the cover, make sure it has a good 10A fuse in there

Okay so i changed the fuse, and yes fuel is now flowing however, it is only coming out of 3 injectors not 4, could that be why its not running? Thanks guys for all your help!

that is bad but it should still run. if you have adequate fuel to 3 cyls then there must be another prob. have you checked spark yet? if you have spark you should also check ign timing while cranking.

also, check for pulsing from the ecu, you can use a GM noid light as the nissan one is not widely available from what i hear. its easy to use, just plug it into the harness connector and crank the engine, see if it flashes on and off

Okay, so out of no where i decided to check compression cuz i thought hey maybe i have a blown head gasket, well on the first cylinder i got 60 psi, but then all the other tries i had i got like 15, 20 psi, then on the 2nd cylinder i got like 120, and on the 3rd and 4th cylinders i got about 90 psi, could i have a blown headgasket or what? Also does anyone know where i can buy some low priced headgaskets? Thanks guys and girls!

what's the condition of your Oil and coolant?

Is there any mixing of those fluids currently, if there's any mixing thatz 1 sign of a blown gasket.

woah, 60, 20, 120, 90, those are very very low, it should be somewere around 150-170. it may be bent valves too, somthing you should think about.

are the plugs wet? low compression with wet plugs could be due to washed out cylinder walls. try the comp test with a teaspoon of oil in each cyl. this will help rings seal even with fuel on the walls.
