This is a 1990 2+0 NA->TT Swap. When Im driving and I push the clutch in the rpms will drop very low and usually the car ends up dieing. If I keep tapping the gas pedal a few times it will finally catch itself and then it will idle fine. Sometimes when I push the clutch the rpms will drop down slowly and catch where it is supposed to like nothing is wrong. It is making it difficult to drive, because every time I stop I have to keep tapping the gas as I come to a stop so it wont die. I have already replaced the air regulator and the IACV so I don't think that's causing the problem. Any ideas on what to check for?? Thanks!!

Have you adjusted the idle using the screw on the back driver side of the plenum? If it is not properly adjusted, the base line rpm would go lower than 650 and will die off. It's not a mechanical problem. Its just tune up so dont worry or dont freak out haha

Yeah I have adjusted the idle already and it still has the same problem. Would boost leaks cause it too do this?

Have you checked the TPS sensor hard idle?

Usually a boost leak results in a rough idle. As you mentioned, it idles fine when you tap the gas pedal. As suggested, check your throttle position sensor for proper adjustment. as if it is of, it can cause the ecu to make a wrong judgments. Other thing that i would suggest is to check for the iacv proper operation. You can do this simply by pinching the rubber hose that goes to the iacv unit from front to back on the driver side of engine bay. If you pinch the hose and the idle doesnt change, it means that the valve is not operating correctly, hence causing that problem you have. Also another question i have is that is the idle adjustment screw all the way out? Can you raise the idle anymore?
