I have a 92 240sx with 128,000 miles on the stock KA24DE. When I'm driving at speeds of about 30 mi/h or above and I depress the clutch pedal to coast, my engine will die shortly after I started coasting. It doesn't happen at low speeds (below 30) and it happens most of the time at higher speeds, but not all the time. The car won't die if I engine brake instead of coasting. It only happens when I hold in the clutch to coast. Any help in solving this problem would greatly be appreciated.

Iacv is not compensating the idle so it dies, could be a restriction in the valve it self. try shooting some carb clean in the 1 inch hose going under the intake manifold off the intake tube. hook it back up and fire the car up this will help clear out some of the carbon build up in the valve. If this some what alieviates the problem then you may want to remove and clean the valve. There is an write up somewhere here I have heard it reffered to before.

Thanks a lot. I'm going to try that later on today and I'll search for more info about the IACV.
