Car dies when pressing on the break..

So like I said the car dies when coming to a stop,but if i give it a little gas before a complete stop it stays on... rpms drop till it dies,only thing i did was change the fuel filter,car runs fine otherwise..no cel codes,could be a faulty fuel filter,was going to replace with the old one but trash had already been taken..so going to buy another filter and see if that fixes the problem if it doesn't i'm out of ideas for now..

Does the car stay on at idle? If you just start the car, does it then cut ofF?

no car stays on only when i stop it happens..but it has been fix learn an important thing about my 240sx an extra quart of oil sux..so I drain that quart and it works fine now like nothing happend...Only reason i added that quart was cause it looked low and was about to take a 6hour drive but that's another story for another day..just glad my car is working again..Thanks Krash for trying to help..
