I removed the intake manifold, got ride of the egr valve and also got rid of the butterfly valves, blocked them off using metal.

I did a slight wire tuck relocated two grounds that used to connect to the head now ground to the body, i can hear the relay click when i touch the ground to the chassis.

I have ran a 4 gauge wire to the head and also connected it to the chassis.

Now heres the problem i put everything back together after painting it, and the car starts and then dies out If i disconnect the mafs the car runs and stays on but i cant rev past 2k. With the mafs connected it turns on then dies out it trys to stay on at 300 but then just dies

Any ideas?

Get yourself some MAF cleaner... clean the MAF... All better. And reconnect the ground to the head.

mafs worked perfectly before i worked on it, a dirty mafs would have these problems?

Also the grounds are connected just on the body instead of the head.

Ive tucked harnesses before and some places for grounds were good and others sucked. I had moved the same grounds hes talking about around and the car would not start, moved them back and it was fine.

the grounds always matter...why do you think the factory grounds each part...

put the ground for the head back on there, its the other end of your ignition circuit
