this is after the cam, ecu and injector change?

and does it happen everytime? any special things you have to do to make it cut off, like accellerating, or just cruising?

any thoughts about a camshaft position sensor? Or does the J even have those? My Spyder did that kinda similar when mine was going bad.

figured out what the surging was...the timing was off...i think we fixed tonight by advancing it a little...also today i thought my alternator crapped out on me b/c my car wouldnt start but after 2 jumpstarts and pushing it off the freeway i finally called a tow truck to get it home...i ended up buying a new optima yellow top and the alternator was fine....come to find out one of the wires on the positive side was broken...rewired the optima and no problems as of just yet...still havent hooked my amp and subs up yet b/c im contemplating on getting a capacitor just in case there actually is a charging issue...think it will help???2nite after we fixed everything and corrected the timing i got her up to 50 and no surging but 2morrow i will try to further adjust the timing...-K

so shes still surging around 40mph but only if im under 3000 when i get there....beginning to think its a fuel problem b/c timing is exactly where it needs to be-15 degrees advanced from TDC-fuel pressure is constant so im ruling out the regulator...also learned that the FPR on the NA and TT z32's are exectly the same as the J...maybe if i go with the TT fuel pump that will help....ill see what i can dig up...also i havent bought the capacitor yet b/c i dont know how much $$$ this fuel issue will cost me so as of right now im riding with subs in the trunk and an amp thats not getting any power...btw it gave me a chance to see how the original BOSE rear deck speakers were doing and i think its time to upgrade those as well...anyways if anyone has ANY ideas please let me know-K
