car dies after running for a couple of minutes

it started last Saturday. I swapped in a RB25det into an s14 which is why I am posting in this forum.

Anyways, I started the car up and let it idle so that it could warm up and after about 2 minutes, before it even warmed up, the engine just shuts itself of. no sputtering just off. I take my key out and put it back in to start it again and I notice my accessories are not coming on immediately like it should, it takes a couple of seconds. but my headlights are totally unaffected by this and stay on the whole time.

Any ideas?

weird. check all the fuses, fusable links. my car never has the accessories come on untill the engine hits about 2500 rpm... i think its cuz the previous owner was a ****heaad and screwedup something with the ign lockother than that i dunno ...
