well i was driving home today, the car died twice as i was drivingonce i pulled out of gear and other time i just put it into gearbut both times it just shut off, all dash light comes on

first time it shut off, i was able to restart the engine immediatelysecond time, wasnt so lucky, i had to pull over for a sec, and then tried starting it couple times

and then the last time, it just shut off totally, i was about 30 second away from home...

when i try to start it, it seems that as if the fuel pump is not working. it will crank, but not turn over? i tried letting it "cool down" then it will barely start, but still dies before turning over

then i was like let me just wait for someone to help me get the car home, so i waited for about 25min, and i tried starting the car againand vroom, engine started

then i just went home, and afraid to drive the car now...i tried starting it again about 20min later, starts fine, idle fine.before all this happened car was running just fine

right now i think it might be the fuel pump, it acts just like when i disconnected the fuel pump plug. and normally i dont fill up the tank over half full, but i did yesterday, could that be a contribution to the problem too?

thanks for whoever can help me out

It could a lot of things. You are going to have to narrow it down. When it does it again if its the fuel pump your fuel lines won't have any pressure and you won't hear the fuel pump pumping on the initial turn of the key. If the pump is working I would check the ignition next.
