car died last night while driving

well as i posted in the 240sx technical, the car died while in mid motion, so someone responded it would be the fuel pump that went on us, my question is where is the fuel pump located in on the vert? the guy said the hatch? so i wouldnt know where it is on the vert. any info would be great

in the trunk one the bottom under the carpet on the right side.. very easy to change.... befor you check it make sure that you check if it primes dont change it for no reason...

thanks for the info cowvert, just we figured it would be the pump considering it died while in motion. only other thing we coulda thought would have been the alarm but we checked and no luck with that.

dose the car turn on ? and then just stop that could also be a vacume leak..

it sounds like it wants to crank but you dont hear anything else. no fuel running nothing.

then it is the pump i know that they go bad alot because it on the list of things that you cant get in a junk yard in miami...
