Car did something really weird today

well today when i got to work i turned off my car and started walking inside. as i was walking away i heard an engine running. i looked and it was my car that was running. i was like wtf? i turned the ignition off didnt i? and yes i did. so after fooling around with the thing for 15 minz or so i finally got it to turn off. i had to turn the igniton off and put it into drive, which killed the engine sumhow. Just found it really strange that the car did this. especially since its an 07. however ive started and turned the car off now a good 5 times with no issues.

anyone else having this problem. i doubt it but i might as well ask

Actually, someone else posted about similar situation with the smart key but I don't think it was a sentra. Might want to see your dealer about this problem.

Here you are! Guy's new Altima never got off the the dealer's lot cause they can't figure out how to shut the car down. Big problem. You might have something similar.
