I am tired of washing my car and then having it rain like a day afterwards...
does anybody know a good car cover that will fit our r50's pretty well?

Do like I do! Keep it in the garage, when it rains take it out let the rain wash it. I may wash my QX4 2-3 times a year, helps keep the rust down. Enjoy it! My cover is a 2 car garage.
By the way a car kept in a garage keeps it lasting longer, no one vandalizes it, lets you see if it is leaking, keeps the dust out and....reduces your insurance.
But if your stuck with no garage keep it waxed, I think if it out in the open a covered car presents a mystery to others and possibly evil deeds and dogs will want to piss on it.

I hear if you get a good waxing (not that kind of waxing!!! :p) and/or "detailing", all you need to do is just wipe the truck down, no need to really "wash" it.
Car cover can get your car dusty as well, as dust can get trapped underneath the cover as if it's encapsulating the dust and stuff within the cover and leave it on your car. Though, it will protect it more.
My previous owner passed his car cover to me, and I've just kept it in the box he gave it to me in. I haven't checked it out, but it seems pretty durable. I'll check the tag and see who makes it, but it looks comparable to the car-covers sold at CostCo's.

lol ive been detailing for a long while now, which is why i want to "preserve" my just wAXED CAR.
its true that if you wax reg, you can just use a quick detailer to wipe of any smudges and stuff, but where i live, im gonna probably need a bottle of that every week from all the bird sh*t and sprinklers.
wish i could have a garage but thats not an option :P
