Ok so heres the problem, i have a 96 grand am and the rocker panels are crap and idk how much it would be to get them fixed, so what im thinking of doing is getting a student load to help get a car. Now here comes the problem it is a 50 mile drive from my house to the school and to save money i wanna live at my current house, now for the help all of you can give. In all honesty what car would be best for getting there and back comfortably, safely, looks good, with no problems, and the big one good on gas. i dont care wat car you say i just need to make a list of cars to check out and what are avaleable in my area.

thanks in advance, and much apprechiated

well i say... get a civic or some other import, compact, 4 cyl. some may not be too great on the eyes... but reliability and gas milage are usually a plus

im actulley thinkin about getting some money from my collage fund to work on my car to make it drive smoother which would help the reliabilaty of the suspension and and those general area things, and getting "new" wheels which would basicly be steel wheels that i can actulley balance correctly
