'90 240sx '89 KA24E (My friends car)

After Shifting car bucks back and forth. This doesn't happen while accelalting normally. Only after shifting.

What the problem is?

Originally the alternator fell out of the car while driving. Was replaced with a 92 alternator. After that the belt fell off while driving. The car overheated, and now there is a loud clanking from the engine. He also decided to do a powerslide and he broke the rear suspension member.

Did a quick inspection of the drive shaft and that seems to be all right. I'm now thinking it has something to do with the transmission. Though he's really messed around with the car too much for me to really know what he's done to it.

Any help is appreceated. If you want to flame him I'll pass it along.

Does it move around from the front or rear.....

Maybe your subframe bushings are bad?

I'm actually not sure. I drove it around the block just to see what he was talking about. I feels like it's comeing from the front, but i'm not sure. He's already given up on the car and is planning on junking/selling it... Anyone want a slightly used KA24E?
