car broke down today

so i had to have my car towed today because when I let the clutch pedal out i would go no where. also coincidentally my a/c went out today (or at least it stopped producing cold air the same time) and i cant drive it. i smelt a burning that i am pretty sure was the clutch. any ideas? i have a new clutch a flywheel that i havent had the time or money to install.

Yea sounds like your clutch.If you smelt burning then yup it's done.However, has it been slipping lately?A/C could be loose belt/ just crapped otu on you.

it was doing this intermittently. mostly when its hot. i have a mechanic friend that i talked to online and he said the reason its doing it is because the flywheel wasnt resurfaced (not something i could control as the clutch was replaced before i owned the car. bought it off my buddy who changed it himself without resurfacing it).

btw as you probably saw in my sig i got a fidanza flywheel and the clutch just sitting here at home.
