OK, so the other day i was sitting at a light and i rev my car up till about 6k rpms. the car suddle idles down and then stalls. i then try to start it back up but it wont start. the first thing that comes to my head is a vac leak. i get the car off the road and then i try to start it up and it starts right up no problem. but i let it sit and decided to pick it up lateri then go to pick it up later and the VAC gauge is reading fine so i decide to go home but i take it Easy. it drives home fine and pulls fine. but then i decide to pick up the past and as soon as i hit 3,500 rpms the car would kick real hard and the needle on the Tach would bounce it back almost like it was speed limited there. i then decide not to go that high and drive home all under 3k rpmsi leave it in the garage and start it up the next morning. everything looks good under the hood no strange noises but my hearing sucks. Vac is reading fine. I then rev it up and it revs up fine i did a couple to like 5krpms and everythings fine. i look under the hood and nuttin. i go back to the car to rev it up again and now i cant go past 2,500 rpms. and try a few times and nutting i get out the car to check under the hood agian and while under there the car shakes hard and then stalls.

the car is a SR redtop i have had the car running for over a year now with no problems at all. and i have no clue what this could be. if you have any ideas on what to check or look for let me know i would greatly apprieciate it

thanks in advance guys--steve--

There's a good chance it's boost leak somewhere between your turbo and throttle body. Maybe even before the turbo where the air is being measured. My friends SR did that when we blew a hole in one of his cheap menards piping coupling.
