lately my car has had a little trouble starting, it feels like it starts too fast or it wont start at all, but when it does it idles very low but goes back to normal after awhile, also the car seems to turn off when i stop at a stop sign, this only happens sometimes, but its kinda dangerous, and it scares me a little. i think its my spark plugs, i saw a post on the boards recently saying that bosch plugs are bad for nissan and im running bosch +2's, should i go with denso?ngk? any insight would help

First thing I would do... redo the engine grounding. My 91 240sx Auto had the exact same problem, sometimes, when comming ot a stop it would stall and boggs all the time. I went out and bought some 4 gauge battery cabling, and grounded the engine pretty well. Problem went away.

I have a different theory... i think its the idle control valve near the back of the intake manifold that needs to be adjusted. I used to have this same problem (yeah it is scary when it dies...on the freeway) and just turn it counter-closkwise IIRC and drove it around the block and it should be fine. ic ould also be a leaky brake booster if it only does it under braking.

ok i found the valve but i need to know what IIRC means before i do anything, my technical knowledge of abbreviations escapes me right now, or is IIRC just an abbreviation for something else?

Well, IIRC, IIRC means if I remember/recall correctly.
