i have an 02 altima 3.5(auto) with a cold air intake, cut out resonator, and exhaust...i've noticed that when i get on it my car bogs around 3500-4700RPM then picks up again towards redline...its very noticable and annoying...i was wondering if anyone had/has this problem and whats the reason? someone told me it could be the mass air flow sensor cuz the 2002 3.5 had some problems or my torque converter/transmission...any insight would be appreciated...i also ran my car a couple weeks ago at irwindale(1/8th mile) and ran a 9.603 at 75.3mph with this problem..

It does sound like a MAF sensor problem. It may even be a simple "make sure it's plugged in correctly" deal. Happened to me once with my old car; the sensor came loose and the car was bogging all over the place.

It may be a faulty MAF sensor. Take it into the dealership and they can run a diagnostic.
