Sup guys, need a little help here....

I want to replace my factory speakers in my 98 240, with Infinity Kappa aftermarket ones. I want to use the stock CD player/receiver/power, just different speakers. What size do I need for the doors and what size do I need for the back shelf area?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,Brad

i think the stock front door are 5 1/4... but you can fit 6.5's there... the rears are 6.5...

They are 6.5"s in the front, and the rear are 6.5" or oversized 6.5"s. I used boston acoustic pros 6.5's in the fronts and they came with adapter rings, so no problem there. Ive since modified the oem pod with a dab of glass and other materials... :) a few times now...

I tossed the rear speakers out when I got the car, as rear fill is evil.

But yeah look for 6.5's

Edit we do have a car audio forum as well http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.net/forum ... forumid=99 according to the faq the fronts are 6.5" and the rear are oversized 6.5", like I said I chucked them when I got the car hehe..

I wouldn't run the Kappas off of the stock deck, not enough power at all, it's maybe putting out I think 8 watts RMS, you need at least 50 or more, I think the Coaxials are rated at 75 RMS, and the Components are rated at 90 RMS. So if you're thinking of running Kappas, you might also want to upgrade the HU, and get an external amp.
