Ok, Every morning when I get in my car I can't even hear my sub. After it has been sitting in the parking lot all day at school and my car is 100 degrees when I get in, it is nice and loud. Why does it do this.

if all the amp does is power your sub, then it could be that the amp doesn't work right when it's that cold. my md deck doesn't play md's at all until it gets warmed up. it turns on, accepts and ejects md's and plays the radio fine.

Temperature changes the way speakers/subs perform (Resistance wise)..A subwoofer will have variable resistance with music also, therefore the amplifier could be getting between 2 ohms and 20 ohms hence the difference in sound (read: Power being applied to the subs).

Also, Temperature can change the pressure of a given space (like a car) since Subwoofers create SPL (sound pressure level), this may also be why it sounds louder at certain Temperaturelevels.

I hope this helps
