I was wondering if I were to buy this amp and this sub , would they be able to work togather? The sub says it is dual 4 ohm and the amp is 4 ohm, is that the same thing? Ahh, I'so confused! :(

Ok, here it goes.

If the sub is dual 4 ohm coils, you need an amp that is going to be 2 ohm stable. (if it is a multi-channel amp, make sure that it is 2 ohm stable while bridged). The amp doesn't have a set ohm rating...it depends on your wiring configuration.

So find an amp that is 2 ohm stable. Then when you wire the sub, connect the two voice coils together positive-positive and negative-negative.

Check out the forums at http://www.caraudio.com they can be a lot of help.

Or you could get two of the subs and wire them in a parallel/series configuration to get a 4 ohm load that the amplifier accepts
