Hey guys, got a quick question for ya. The phone menu lets you choose a 1 of 2 rings or a "silent" mode for the blue tooth phone system. I've chosen ring 1, but when my phone rings, I still hear the ringtone which I've selected ON MY CELL phone.

Is there some sort of a setting I need to change on my cell phone?

I'm using the HP Ipaq6945 which runs on Windows Mobile5.

I'd love to have the car assigned ringtone when someone calls me while I'm in the car.

Thanks!

It's got to be a setting with your phone...I ran wimo6 on my phone and when a call came in only sounds i would hear would be the cars ringer....sucked b/c i also wouldn't hear text messages.

Now I have rim bold and when i get a call only the car ringer rings....but i still get my text message sounds.

Maybe upgrade your phone OS to winmo 6 or 6.5? It's free

IIRC it might be a WinMo5 thing...either that or you could just turn the volume down to silent while in the car if you want...

Thanks guys, I'll mess around with this a little more. Unfortunately my phone is an Ipaq6945 and HP does not offer a wm6 upgrade. Time for a new phone I guess!

On another note, I'm all excited coz tomorrow I'm getting my iPod interface installed

Also, since my car is light gray inside, I don't want to use the original mats as I can only imagine what they'll look like after a few weeks of winter trafic in and out of the car. So I went to Infiniti and inquired about OEM mats. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the ENTIRE set will cost $174cdn. Imagine that! For my previous car, Honda Prelude they wanted $500!! Ha!

Anyway, I'll get the black set since it wont show dirt and I think will give me a nice contrast in the car.

i have the grey interior as well, i acquired the grey OEM mats from a forums member, and i've been quite happy with them, I need to take them out and give them a decent cleaning after having them in all winter, but i have considered leaving them in year round
