Car and Driver drives a Citroen from New York to France

Sort of France. It's St Pierre, a French island off Newfoundland. You need a passport to go there. Once they arrived on the island, they found Renaults, Peugeots, Citroens, and their dealers.

The Citroen CX they intended to take there, unfortunately, spent most of its time on a trailer being towed by an Escalade.

Seems a shame C&D picked such a ratty example and did nothing to it before leaving. I actually liked the older DS9. Drove one many years ago. Such a quirky yet comfortable car.
