I just re-did the head, new water pump etc etc.

Car ran great for 1 day but today it died pulling out of the parking lot, got it working again and it idles real nice and pulls great into the high rpm's but she still almost dies when I touch the gas from an idle.

I had the whole engine in bits and put it back together again spraying every electrical connector with WD40

Any ideas on what could be causing this?:help

Wow, good work on getting it all back together.

Sounds like you have a big vacuum leak to me. Check all your hoses for cracks and holes.

Mine kinda does it to when its cold. Right around 2500 to 3000 rpm. I'm thinkin a tune up should take care of it, maby new injectors. Check the fuel filter and pump to. Run some injector cleaner. Check your timing too.

Well now it's stopped doing it!

Timing is spot on and no vacuum leaks.

I'm thinking it was the dead battery not holding a good charge, the radio was acting funny too, but now I've run it for 3 days it seems to be working OK.

Thanks
