Forget about a Black Widow. Pay about $300 to install a Viper. Then buy an Autolock to put on your brake from Autozone. A crook will go on to an easier target.

i dunno where YOU could get one, but i know that i can get one through a friend of mine who works in the car audio department in a store called A&B Sound... the employee cost for them just recently got reduced for the compustar ss, and he can get one for $240 CDN!!

i already got an autopage 750lcd (ebay), but it sucks compared to the compustar in range, but i heard that i can upgrade the remote and stuff to the 850lcd, and apparently it's a lot better, and comparable to the compustar...

I must tell you that the two things I had stressed earlier are to install a Viper backed up with the Autolock. Viper is primary and then the Autolock will insure your security. See autolock.com and DEI security.

Yeah, DEI is still good.. especially if you have an in at the local high end/reputable audio shop. I've got kill switch, proximity sensor, shock sensor, and interior motion sensor, sliding window pinned.. remote start.. the list goes on... now days, it's all available for a decent price. Nothing on this small list is super special, but I'm pleased with it.

I only know about VIPER so can't really tell about the compustar. I like the VIPER because of pro installation and liftime warranty. On some of the auto securtiy forums DEI has a great reputation also.

DEI owns the best car security companies, Clifford, Viper, Python, and more. I like Clifford as far as going for best amount of security and options then Viper. The ultimate in security is the new Clifford AG5. Though its gonna cost over 1000 bucks and thats with install price too. I like teh clifford options because you can add on wireless immobilizer, self powered siren that will keep going off even if you threw it in water for a bit, they glass tempering sensor, digital tilt motion sensor, their ultrasonic sensor and much much more. The list goes on and on. Be prepared to spend a lot of money for a good clifford system though.

Yes, Clifford is the absolute state-of-the-art system. Very expensive but supposedly the best right now.I elected the VIPER beacause it actually works in tandem with an already great factory Infiniti system. For example, if a crook breaks your window and disables the brain and siren he must then defeat the factory system before he can take the car. He also must defeat the mechanical brake lock (Autolock) Pretty tough to steal and he would probably move on to the next car before going through all that. If you team the Clifford with an already great factory system it would be like trying to break in Fort Knox. Very expensive and maybe overkill but if you do not have a factory system you might want to look at the wireless Clifford. Your car will be there in the morning for sure. Hope this helps, I learned the hard way with two performance Fords stolen.
