Car alarm systems

I haven't made a post here in a while so I do not know if this topic has been covered (could not find anything on search butto)

My Z (like most) calls a lot of attention and I will hate for anything to happend to it since I've being having dreams of a car being stolen. Last week I was working on some carbon fiber pieces out in my garage when some random guy pull up to my property asking me if the Z was for sale since he drove by a couple of times and saw that it didn't have a liscence plate....supposedly hes working on a 93 TT slick top and was telling that he had parts for sale.... However I did not get a good/positive vibe at all since this guy was looking inside my garage any chance he had while making up conversation. So:

What are some of the best alarm systems out there? Is there any alarm system that comes with a gps tracking device? Is there any system that would let me track/control the Z through my iPhone? Thanks

Why dont you put the z inside the garage?? Mine its in jack stands and covered with no plates too

I have a Viper system on my DD, it's good.

I have an old Clifford on my Z, it's good.

Best thing you can do is a remote fuel pump relay kill switch. Look for magnetic switches/relays. I've thought about rigging up a tracfone or other prepaid wireless phone with GPS to be turned on and trackable once the alarm is triggered.

Other option is LoJack

I have heard great things about Viper alarm systems. I'll probably get a Viper alarm system when I get to that point. I'm not sure about all of the particulars though.
