ok so i got my car alarm done by a shop a while ago...the siren broke off its mount so i replaced it...now the car alarm sounds very faint that if you dont put you ear next to it you cant hear it...but the catch is that its always on...it just sounds like a clicking noise...."click click click" every second. now i tested the siren with the battery and it works...LOUD AS HELL TOO...so i reconnected it and still the little faint click....when i arm the alarm it does not do that chirp that its supposed to nor does it go off when the alarm does....you just hear that very faint click..click..click and i checked for fuses and every wire is fine. whats going on

Every time I have seen something like that it has been a bad ground at the alarm brain. Check that and it should fix it. I'm assuming this is a DEI alarm?

Have you looked for a loose wire yet? Most likely it's black. The clear thing is the shock sensor for the alarm.

ok....i did see 1 lonely black wire that comes out of the brain that i connected to a ground and it did nothing....everything else is directly plugged into the brain with a plug....

When something like this happens and you paid a shop to do the work, you bring it back to them. Hopefully you didnt **** with anything, otherwise they probably wont cover it.
